Comments/Problems:
- Although I did 'install-2.6' and d-i indeed used kernel 2.6.7, it
installed a base system with kernel 2.4.25. X and power management
does not work with 2.4. I installed 2.6.7 manually, now everything
works.
- when configuring the base system, the first debconf template (from
console-data) is obviously encoded in UTF-8, but shown as latin1, i.
e. the umlauts were totally scrambled. All other templates work
normally.
- I chose German keymap (de-latin1), but the alt and command keys are
swapped in the text consoles (this works correctly under X).
Nevertheless, great job! Thanks for your hard work!
