-- System Information
Debian Release: 3.0
Architecture: Sparc 32
Kernel: 2.2.19
Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C

I am trying to install to a Sun Sparcstation IPX.

I know little about this hardware.

This particulare machine can boot from its hard drive: it has SunOS
installed and operational.

However, on booting the installer I see no messages about SCSI, and it
does not allow me to partition my hard drive.
