Nothing more then a idea that is based on:

 network-console

It is an udeb package that recent came available.
The description says: "Provides a console via ssh"
and depens on configured-network & openssh-server-udeb.

The idea is to be able to do things like

  ssh root@installing-system "cat /path/to/logfile" > d-i_logfile

from a working system.
