Bug#255223: ddetect: fails to detect when two pcnet32 cards are present (vmware)

Package: ddetect
Version: 20040618
Severity: normal

I enabled two of the VMware network adapters (pcnet32). However, in
this situation, the pcnet32 adapter fails to load and the installer
can't detect a single one. modprobing on tty2 fails with "No such
device", so I guess the issue is in the driver, but I am not sure.
i can't find information on pcnet32 having such problems.
