uname -a: <install with vmware>
Date: all day, 17 June 2004
Method: Boot with PXE

Machine: VMWare 4.5.1
Processor: vmware
Memory: 392 Mb
Root Device: sda image
Root Size/partition table: 1 Gb
Output of lspci and lspci -n:
not yet installed. also, probably irrelevant.

Base System Installation Checklist:

Comments/Problems:

A couple of questions and suggestions, all in expert mode:

1. The virtual machine is using the BootLogic BT-946C (BA80C30)
   [MultiMaster 10] SCSI adapter of VMWare. The 20040616 sid-d_i
   correctly identifies the disk.

2. The installer suggests floppy.o when scanning for network
   hardware. That's potentially confusing.

Until 1 is fixed, I can't go further...

All that said, you guys have done a great job.
