Package: cdebconf
Version: 0.46
Severity: normal

I booted my sister Anna's computer, a old VA linux tower machine (full HW d=
ata
on request), using the d-i bootfloppy and root floppy set, built by myself
today. This included the 2.4.22 kernel, and the framebuffer drivers. The
vga16fb driver was loaded and I got a nice display. So far so good. (I've
filed another bug about vt switching problems with this setup.)

I belive the screen res in this setup is 80x30. At least that's what
the dmesg says, I did not bother to count. I am using the cdebconf newt
frontend of course.

If cdebconf is asked to display the hw-detect/not_included message,
with MODULE SUBSTed to "eepro100" and CARDNAME to "Intel Corporation=20
82557 [Ethernet Pro 100]", then I get some minor display corruption.
The right border of the dialog box is broken and white "fill" from inside it
expands out to the right-hand side of the screen. I'd guess that cdebconf
is not calculating the width correctly. Note that all the words fit inside
the dialog box. I do not see this with other note dialogs though.

(This image has hw-detect 0.44 on it.)
