Debian-installer-version: 10.03.2004
http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sarge_d-i/i386/beta2/sarge-i386-netinst.iso
uname -a: <The result of running uname -a on a shell prompt>
Date: 11.03.2004
Method: Burned image to CD-R and booted from it.

Machine: Intel 865PERL equiped computer
Processor: Pentium 4 HT 2,8 GHz
Memory: 512 MiB
Root Device: Wasn't that far
Root Size/partition table: Wasn't that far. So far I have 1 NTFS
partition and free space at end of 120GB Maxtor SATA harddisk.
Output of lspci:

Base System Installation Checklist:

Initial boot worked: [E]
Configure network HW: [ ]

Detect CD: [ ]

Mount partitions: [ ]
Install base system: [ ]
Install boot loader: [ ]
Reboot: [ ]
[O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it

Comments/Problems:

When I booted and pressed enter at first propt. It loaded kernel.
Started installer. Asked about locales & keyboards. Then it started
loading modules. After screen:

Detecting Hardware
80 %
Module 'ide-detect' for 'Linux IDE detection'

Computer has not responding any actions, keyboard LEDs wasn't responding
to pressing *lock's. C-A-D didn't work. Had to press reset.

I am equiped with i865PE chipset with SATA controller (1 Maxtor disk)
and in PATA port there is one CDROM drive (where I booted). These PE
chipsets are coming to quite common in here. So I think fixing this
problem should be fixed in near future.

I created hardware report wiht PC Wizard 2004 for another case and here
is url for it:
