This is the only remaining minor problem. I'm reassigning this to the
kernel, because discover can do nothing about it. The kernel should probably
not show this pci id if it is disabled (If that's possible after all).

discover1 loads ide-scsi as soon as it detects a CD-ROM.
The new discover package no longer does that.

This is correct. /cdrom should be a symlink to /cdrom0.
