Yeah, that's the file system detection.

Can you try a new image and see if this is still there?  But I guess
it is... you cannot change the partition type, so if it would only
provide "swap" as an option for partition type swap, then you could
never get rid of that partition and make something else on it.

I think this has been fixed.

Is this still there?

Can you try new images from
http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sarge_d-i/ and report how well
they work?  Can you try on sparc and alpha too?  We're currently
preparing for rc1, so some feedback would be good.
