PCMCIA causes some machines to hang. Can you please get a new image
from http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sarge_d-i/ and see if it
works? If it still hangs, can you boot with:
linux hw-detect/start_pcmcia=false
This will turn PCMCIA off.
