Can you try new images from
http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sarge_d-i/ and see if this has
been fixed (I think so). I'm off-line and cannot check the location,
but new floppy images should be at
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/unstable/debian-installer

Can you check if the module for this card is still not being loaded?

Maybe you could write something up for out installation manual?

This should definitely be there now.

Hmm, I'm not sure how it works on a floppy install, but on a net
install it definitely loads the modules from the net before doing the
partitioning.
