The old partitioning tool has disappeared now.

You can now boot with "linux26" and this will use and install a 2.6
kernel. Can you please try the new image from
http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sarge_d-i/ and let me know how
wel they work. Perhaps you can try booting with linux (2.4) and
linux26 (2.6).
