Correct.  I've just wanted to escape from the problem for Turkish.  
Actually, all encodings should be considered when looking for the right 
solution.

Yes, console is indeed in a good state before spawning the 'termwrap', 
due to the correct settings /etc/console-tools/config.  No need for 
termwrap at least for Turkish.

Hmm, this mandates a gross change in termwrap or perhaps leave the 
termwrap alone as a hack and concentrate on the 'prebaseconfig'.
