netcfg static

Hello D.I.S.T.,

This is about an other approach
on the DHCP versus static configuration dispute.

After several runs of d-i, I want to take the hardware into use.
During the installations it was comfortable for me to use DHCP,
now I want static configuration of the IP stuff
and avoid an other debian-installer run.

Is it possible to do something like

  start debian-installer
  mount target
  run a command like `netcfg static`

?

Cheers
