Bug#250109: Can't see any partition table

Comments/Problems:
   When the installer came to the stage of
Partitioning the hard drives, there was nothing i
could see regarding my hard-disk. I tried to look for
any device file for it like hda* in the /dev dir from
the console on tty2, but there was no such file. 
Just to inform you that there is no problem with my
hardware, i installed woody from a CD after that and I
encountered no problems.
