Comments/Problems:

First tried 10/100MBit PCMCIA-NIC "Fiberline FL-FE2000VX", was not detected nor properly set up after choosing the right chipset (8139too).
I attached Information on how to get it working under Linux (from driver disk).

Then I used a billionton 10MBit CompactFlash-sized NIC (CFLT-10B) with PCMCIA-Adapter, that one was detected without problem and set up properly.
I used this to install the system over network.

When I installed the system and rebooted, the networkcard did not work anymore, because the pcmcia-daemon or the hotplug daemon is down.
During boot-up:
____________
Starting hotplug subsystem:
	input
[failed] net
	pci
** can't synthesize pci hotplug events
[failed] usb
** can't synthesize root hub events
done
_____________
...
_____________
Starting PCMCIA services: Linux Kernel Card Services 3.1.22
 options: [pci] [cardbus] [pm]
/lib/modules/2.4.26-1-586tsc/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/yenta_socket.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.26-1-586tsc/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/yenta_socket.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.26-1-586tsc/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/yenta_socket.o: insmod yenta_socket failed

A try to restart the pcmcia-daemon does not help.

I would apreciate some help on how to getting to work this.

Thanks for your work on the cool installer!
