I think 'dash' is not needed after the install has completed. Since my system has neither a CDROM nor a floppy I didn't need 'eject' and 'fdutils'. Not sure about the 'discover' packages. It is started from rcS.d, but I don't know if this is just for installation or should always be done. Thanks, Martin
