Package: libdebian-installer, anna Severity: grave Tags: d-i Using yesterday's netinst CD image, I found that partman was very broken because partman-partitioning was not loaded by anna. The console file has partman depending on that package and several others; all the others were loaded; though the log file has anna saying it will load them because they're standard priority: DEBUG: install partman-basicfilesystems, priority >= standard Nothing was said about partman-partitioning except main-menu later warning that it did not exist. Hmm, I checked, and anna installed partman-md, which depends on mdcfg-utils. mcdfg-utils was not installed either, and its priority is also optional. It seems possible to me that anna is not resolving any dependencies anymore. I don't know if this is a bug in libdebian-installer or in anna. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.25 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US -- see shy jo
