Bug#249235: difficult to roll back requested packages after using tasksel

Package: installation-reports

(this applies to beta4)

I tried to install my basic environment by picking choices from tasksel.
I noticed that it was pulling down a lot more packages than I expected,
so I hit ctrl-c to cancel the download. After this, I was unable to
select a smaller subset of packages in tasksel, nor was I able to
continue without selecting any packages beyond the required ones +
security upgrades. (it attempted to install the previously selected set
of packages).

Steps to reproduce:
* Run tasksel, select a set of packages.
* Start the installation. Cancel partway through the download.
* (Note that the selected packages are still marked for download.)
* Run tasksel, try to select a different set of packages.
* The original set will also be installed.

I understand that the selections are persisted by-design, but the
installer ought to expose a way to roll back your selections if you
change your mind during the large (and not very granular) set of
packages pulled down by the installation of one of the task packages.
