Comments/Problems:

Abstract: add the badblocks utility and a badblocks-checking option in the
partitioner

The harddisk i tried to install to is corrupt, or at least corrupt to the Linux
kernel (2.4 and 2.6 tried). That is why the four steps marked with an E went
wrong (and occasionally not).

Now, the real problem i like to point out is a binary missing: badblocks. In
situations where you're not sure about the quality of the harddisk (as this),
the less newbie (more advanced) user will need this utility.

I also think that there should be an option in the partitioning program to turn
on badblocks-checking in the formatting proces (mkfs -c). One way of
implementing this would be by adding an option/line to the partition-specific
screen: 'Check for bad blocks' with options 'yes' and 'no'. Documentation in the
help feature will also be trivial, i think.
