Date: <MAY 4TH>
Method: CD on Network

Machine: multiple (all behave the same)
Processor: Pentium 400-800
Memory:128 MB
Root Device: IDE
Root Size/partition table: 6-9 GIG
Output of lspci: multiple machines

Detect CD:              [O ]

Partition hard drives:  [O ]

[O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it

Comments/Problems: Terminal (Konsole, etc) works in root, but not in any user account.  Solution - chmod 666 /dev/ptmx
