Comments/Problems:
Perhaps it is an idea to state the commands to determine cpuspeed, mem, hd-names, etc.
Some of us really have no idea. :)

I had no trouble with installing Debian with beta 1 (didn't file bugreport).
Now I had trouble with installing Grub (then Lilo). It gave an error, that it couldn't install.
I tried to install lilo, which did not gave an error, but the reboot failed.
Somehow it still used grub (error 18).
I think the reason the bootloader failed to install is because I had EZdrive installed.
I overwrote the MBS with MAXblast3 and placed zero's on the HD. Furthermore I installed the Promise mass storage controller, so the 160 gig secondary HD would be detected.

When I installed again it went flawless.

I'm really looking forward to installing a stable Debian system with Debian installer.
Doesn't matter if it's not Sarge. If I can install Woody with Debian installer, I would
be very very happy also!

Keep up the good work! Thnx for Debian installer!

Regards,
Jochem
