Bug#247506: installation-reports
Package: installation-reports
Debian-installer-version: 05-05-2004
http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/ 110 Mb Image. (first, should be
beta4)
uname -a: Linux mulder 2.4.25-1-386 #2 Wed Apr 14 19:38:08 EST 2004 i686
unknown
Date: 05-05-2004 15:30
Method: I just burned and booted with just burned cd; problems starts before
using net connection, so I believe it is not important to know that I tried
installation in a machine connected via eth0 to another machine which is
connected to the internet and in which there are working iptable rooles. (by
the way I told it) :)
Machine: Home asembled
Processor: Intel Celeron Mendocino 300@450
Memory: 128 Mb
Root Device: IDE hdb
Root Size/partition table: I have got 2 Hd on that machine: hda (4 Gb)
contains just a windows fat32 partition in which there is win98. Hdb (8 Gb)
has been partitioned by debian-installer and after partitioning it contains a
huge ext3 partition (more than 7 Gb) and a small swap partition (about 500 Mb)
The ext3 partition is primary one.
Output of lspci: How can I do lspci while the OS is not yet installed?
By the way I have a ATI Radeon 7000 graphic card, an ethernet controller Intel
Corpo Ethernet pro 100 and a Creative Sound Blaster 64. Plus usb microsoft
optical mouse.
