Comments/Problems:

(Again, should be deja vu for those on the debian-boot
mailing list. Sorry.)

When I attempted to install with the 2004-01-01
netinst CD, not long after I did the language
selection, I got an error message like this:

"The integrity check for <FOO> failed. It is most
likely corrupt. Aborting."

After that, I was able to reboot and get back to my
old system.

<FOO> seems to vary depending on my input at the
"boot:" prompt. If I just press Enter, then
<FOO> is "bterm-unifont". If I type "linux
ide=nodma" and then press Enter, <FOO> is
"base-installer".

To ensure that the problem was not with the CD-R that
I burned, I recreated the ISO from the CD-R with the
command "dd if=/dev/cdrom
of=/tmp/copy-of-sarge-i386-netinst.iso". The MD5SUM of
this ISO was the same as that of the original, and the
diff command reported no difference between the
original ISO and the one created from the dd command.
