Thats ok; current kbd-chooser can't autodetect Sun keyboards, and so offers
the Sun/USB choice;
later (in 2.6 only) it will do so and only offer
USB keymaps in systems without sparc connectors,etc.
Can you please send the full kbd-chooser output from the syslog? I'd like to
know if it failed to load the keymap, etc.
On a second VC, could you please do:
# kbd-chooser sunkeymap
This will set the keymap. Do 'echo $?' to see the
return code, to see if it succeeded.
As a workaround until the bug is fixed, you
can also use "bootkbd=sunkeymap" on the boot command line to set the keymap.
