ok, further investigations:
kernel-image-2.4.26*sparc* has hit the archive but this is missing:
linux-kernel-di-sparc (0.57) UNRELEASED; urgency=low
* Colin Watson
- Kernel images provide ext2-modules.
* Joshua Kwan
- Bump to 2.4.26.
- Fix typo in short description for nic-sbus-modules
- NOTE: Do not release until kernel-image-sparc-2.4 v37 reaches
unstable.
