tag 243254 d-i reassign 243254 kernel-image-2.4.25-powerpc-pmac retitle 243254 reiserfs root = kernel panic thanks Not being a powerpc guy, and having seen reiserfs root work find on i386, I can only guess that the powerpc kernel does not have it compiled in, and does not use an initrd, or has a broken initrd.
