Comments/Problems:

Booted with th following at the firmware prompt:
bootp(): append="devfs=mount"

Confusion of partition numbering:
partconf: Creating swap on /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part13
mkswap: /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part13: No such file or directory

should be
mkswap  /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part4

Once this failure occurs, the installer looses its mind about which
partition to mount as /

In running partman to not use the swap partition, I seem to have
lost the ext3 option on formating /
And it fails to mount /, maybe due to some of the same confusion
of partition numbering as made the swap creation fail.
