Comments/Problems:
I think the installation is fine. But the installed kernel image does
not work with my PCMCIA.
While installation the PCMCIA network card is detected and switched on.
After reboot from harddisk I can not use my network because the PCMCIA
service does not start without errors:
Shutting down PCMCIA services:.
Starting PCMCIA services: modulesinsmod: a module named pcmcia_core
already exists
/lib/modules/2.4.24-1-386/pcmcia/i82365.o:
/lib/modules/2.4.24-1-386/pcmcia/i82365.o: unresolved symbol
isapnp_find_dev_R27cb2cad
/lib/modules/2.4.24-1-386/pcmcia/ds.o: init_module: Operation not permitted
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
cardmgr.
