Several install reports mention problems when a debootstrap run fails
for some reason, and then future runs die because debootstrap is not
idempotent. We came up with a way to avoid this problem:

Before debootstrap is run, list all files in /target.
If the run fails, take the list agian, and compare the lists to find all
files added during the run. Remove these.

This should avoid deleting anyone's /home partition if they mounted it
during the partition mounting step.

     - Test /target/bin/sh and /target/bin/awk and if they exist or are broken
links, warn the user that the target is unclean and install may fail.
At high priority level, cancel the install with an error, suggesting
that the user format or erase the target.
