But that doesnt help busybox tar.

I tried specifying formats of gnu, oldgnu, posix, ustar and v7 with GNU
tar 1.13.92 and busybox tar cannot extract any of them without oldgnu
compatability mode enabled.

So many people hell bent on destroying the tar standard, why cant they
just leave it alone....
