Well, the maintainer is not highly responsive unfortunately.... We
should maybe consider a NMU after asking again through l10n bug
reports whether some plans exist for fixing l10n bugs.

I tried....to try your patch, but wasn't successful. We should
pressure the maintainer a bit, imho.
