base system installation failure on ia64

Hi again. Installation of the base system from

http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sid_d-i/netinst/ia64/

failed. The installer was getting cramfsprogs, dash, and initrd-tools 
but failed. The errror messages are:

  Failed to stat - stat (2 No such file or directory)
Err copy: sarge/main cramfsprogs 1.1-4
  Failed to stat - stat (2 No such file or directory)
Err copy: sarge/main initrd-tools 0.1.57
  Failed to stat - stat (2 No such file or directory)
Failed to fetch copy:///cdrom/pool/main/d/dash_0.4.21_ia64.deb  Failed 
to stat - stat (2 No such file or directory)
Failed to fetch

In a different virtual terminal, I checked to see if those files were 
there, and yes, they are.

/cdrom/pool/main # ls -l d/dash/dash* c/cramfs/cram* i/initrd-tools/init*

I hope this message is typo free - I manually copied the output from a 
monitor about 160 degrees behind me. I still have the failed 
installation up & running and can diagnose further if there is more 
information that would help.
