Hi, I am a brand newbie to Linux
System:
Motherboard P4C 800 (intel
875 chipset)
CPU
P4C 2.4 overclocked to 2.9
Ram 2
sticks 512 MB DDR PC3200 (Dual Channel 800 MHz bus)
Video
Radeon 9700 128M
Sound
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS
Hard Drive
Seagate model ST380013AS (Serial ATA)
Install hangs at 80% hardware detection while
loading module ide-detect
I suspect the hang has to do with the serial ATA
hard drive.
Please help!
