Bug#228809: d-i beta2 fails to install on Dell Inspiron 8000....
A little additional info. I played around a bit more and found that if
I type "net" at the initial boot prompt, the installer works just fine
on my Inspiron 8000. Perhaps there's nothing wrong beyond a bad area on
the CD I burned.
