You will have to option to choose between DHCP an manual if you boot in
expert mode. Type "expert" at the yaboot prompt (after booting from
openfirmware). 

Please test the DHCP network configuration by going to a shell on the
second console and typing "ifconfig eth0". Is it set up correct?
