Further testing (fix /dev in tmp/cdrom/tree, chroot into it) gives the error:
/bin/sh: relocation error: /bin/sh: symbol .urem, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
so the other error would be:
init[1]: Unimplemented SPARC system call 188
The latter is a normal ignorable error that occurs several times
durring a normal boot.
