Tricky... take the latest of 

i386 frozen in testing
alioth back up
new kernel pkgs uploaded

then allow, say, three days to get ide-probe-mod and kernel-installer
changes uploaded, new d-i build, new iso, quick test.

I can't really speak for when the kernel pkgs will be done, as I don't
know what Bdales commitments are.  I'd hope we would be ready within a
week though, which falls within your 10th-14th Jan proposal.

Not atm.  I had commit access before the move to alioth, but alioth has
been down since I found time to look at d-i again.
