Bug#148785: Sun4c tftpboot confirmed broken

Hmph. Wish I'd found this bug earlier. I've just run into the same
problem on an SS2; tftpboot.img loads across the network fine (taking
a good 3 minutes), then "Booting Linux..." and a total hang, not even 
stop-A will break it. Impressive. 

Would be grateful if this could be sorted, I know sun4c isn't sexy anymore
but there are still loads of these boxes around and the alternative
installation methods don't appeal. Or maybe I'll just try OpenBSD
instead...
