Yes, my mistake. Will fix. When I applied this "simple" fix I wasn't
aware of the bug ( & discussion, and problems) in BTS,

I'd tested it by hand during an install: loading busybox-cvs-udeb fixed
the problem; I didn't notice any speed problems; but this was an with a
http-retreiver, through a squid proxy to ISDN 64k; ie ISDN meant
everything was slow anyway, and squid was caching things, so timing was
not measurable.
