Package: kbd-chooser
Version: 0.015
Severity: important

The kbd-chooser package crashes when I run with DEBCONF_PRIORITY=high
and DEBIAN_FRONTEND=text. First I pick Norwegian Bokmaal as the
language, abort a package to get to the main menu, and then I pick
"Detect a keyboard and select layout.". This is the output:

kbd-chooser's postinst exited with status 256

There is no information in /var/log/messages about what happened
before it crashed.

When I run with DEBCONF_PRIORITY=medium, there is no crash, but there
is no default keyboard layout selected either. Earlier, no-latin1 was
selected as the default keyboard when I used Norwegian Bokmaal.

I use the CD image available as
<URL:ftp://ftp.skolelinux.no/debian-cd/woody-i386-1.raw> to test this.
The image is rebuilt every two hour.
