the partition for the apple boot loader is
/dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/part2 Apple_Boot eXternal booter 17408@64 (8.5M) Unknown
Configure and mount partitions:
only root partition (reformat)
Retrieve package (... from CD I guess... the hub light is off)
Extracting Packages
Installing base system
a long stop a 75%
Installing extra packages
Debina installer main menu with the cursor on "install thge kernel"
I select 2.4.22 but "Can't find initrd-tools" on console 3
Selected "Detect CDROM devices..."
maybe that I dind't do the step between DHCP an manual newtwork install?
Chose a mirror: http://ftp.it.debian.org
Load installer module (from CD) (nothing selected)
the same error on initrd-tools
If I can help you in any way please tell me how.
