Alt-Fn-F1 to chasnge console works fine. I can't do much more... I try to install initrd-tools using the console. http://ftp.it.debian.org/debian/pool/main/i/initrd-tools/initrd-tools_0.1.55_all.deb after that I set LD_LIBRARY_PATH and user --instdir, --admindir in dpkg. It says taht the package depends on cramfsprogs, but cramfsprogs says that it needs "ld" edoardo
