Have there been changes in the lilo package?

I have my own system build scripts and somewhere in the
last two weeks 'something' changed. When I rsync my
master onto a target system I can't lilo it:

	Fatal: Empty map section

Now, the error messages is true. /boot/map is not there
now, neither are any of the boot.* files. I noticed those
in particular were in the woody lilo package but are not
in that of sid or sarge.

The lilo.conf in question has not changed; therefore
something in the packages that debootstrap and pbuilder
bring in must have changed. Who is responsible for
installing /boot/map?
