Re: dhcp idea
Im not sure how the current debian-installer net config co-operates with
the post install net config, so i may be stating the obvious...
busybox has an ifupdown applet, so debian-installer could generate an
/etc/network/interfaces file, run 'ifup -a', and if the network doesnt
come up repeat the process.
Generating the /etc/network/interfaces could be similar to the current
static net config i imagine, for the simpler levels it could generate an
interfaces file that defaults to dhcp.
Once a correct /etc/network/interfaces is generated it can be copied to
the install target to be used post install.
