Bug#219503: somewhat unfixed

Hi guys,

sorry, but with the BETA1 this is not fixed.. (or i can't find it for
some reason)
First off i have to run DEBCONF_PRIORITY=medium to be able to select my
local mirror at all, which i find annoying, but be it... (i have a
german keyboard and therefore it's boring to type the prompt in english
that's why)

Then i can run the "Choose a mirror" from the main menu and upon going
for "enter information manually" all i see is:
Debian mirror:
		(null)

whereas i'd need to enter something like "debian.mynet.loc"... Is there
some option i can set within the DHCP server to make the dhcp-routines
catch this mirror name? (like setting WINS, IRC and NTP through dhcp)?

After that i've selected the (null), i get asked about a proxy (how
useless for an undefined mirror *g*) and when proceeding to Install base
system i end up on a red screen with:
Error while loading the Release-file:
ftp://(null)(null)/dists/sarge/Release

Something wrong with my BETA1 copy or am i just too blind to see the
easy fix for this?
(I just tried the nightly ISO but this gives the same problem)

Btw. autodetection as a dependancy of "Select mirror" does not work.. i
get an error of unconfigured network, instead that it'd be trying to
autoprobe DHCP first (like i'd think it should)

 Kilian
