Bug#219498: disk with 8 partitions, only one is offered for choosing
Package: partconf
Severity: important
Hi!
When installing into my of my systems which has a 10 gigas disk I found out
a really weird thing, as the disk has 8 partitions and only one was offered
by partconf, the size of this partion was also not ok.
The disk has this partitioning:
Disk /dev/hda: 10.2 GB, 10245537792 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 1245 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 * 1 90 722893+ b W95 FAT32
/dev/hda2 91 239 1196842+ 83 Linux
/dev/hda3 240 259 160650 83 Linux
/dev/hda4 260 1245 7920045 5 Extended
/dev/hda5 260 276 136521 82 Linux swap
/dev/hda6 277 500 1799248+ 83 Linux
/dev/hda7 501 550 401593+ 83 Linux
/dev/hda8 551 1245 5582556 83 Linux
In case it makes any difference, I'm pasting the view in expert mode also:
Disk /dev/hda: 255 heads, 63 sectors, 1245 cylinders
Nr AF Hd Sec Cyl Hd Sec Cyl Start Size ID
1 80 1 1 0 254 63 89 63 1445787 0b

This is what partconf showed for me to choose:
IDE1 master, part. 1 9.5 GiB fat16
Well, I don't know what else to add, if you want me to gather any more info
just tell me, also if you want me to test something out.
Regards!
