As I was the one who did the Portuguese translation (actually, it is
Brazilian Portuguese, or pt_BR, or Portuguese as spoken in Brazil) I
would like to know if there's something I could do to help track down
the cause of this bug.

Please, let me know if I could do something (testing, etc) which would
help you.
