Bug#218869: display corruption

Package: cdebconf
Version: 0.48
Severity: normal
Tags: d-i

In my d-i testing I noticed cdebconf puts up a garbled display for the
hw-detect/missing_modules note. All I saw of the note was its title, not
the long description. And this was overlaid over the hw-detect prgress
bar, and the display was not exactly clean, with broken borders and
stuff. I can reproduce this easily by running hw-detect at low priority
twice on my laptop. On the second run it cannot load some modules so
displays the note. I think I also saw a similar problem with the error
the installer displays if it cannot get an address with DHCP -- I saw
only the title of the error, no body.

IIRC this was working fine last week. Perhaps Denis's resize changes
or the like broke it.
