Package: boot-floppies
Version: 2.2.19

flavor: vanilla
architecture: i386
model: Toshiba SatellitePro 410CS
memory: 8MB
scsi: none
cd-rom: none
network card: Netgear FA411 (pcmcia
pcmcia: None other than Netgear FA411

The first step I move to after initializing the Linux partition is to
configure the PCMCIA for NFS install. I keep getting "An error encountered while
trying to load and configure the PCMCIA modules".

The /var/log/messages output for this attempt:

user.info dbootstrap[108]: No /var/run/cardmgr.pid, mardmgr not needint to
be stopped
user.info dbootstrap[108]: rmmod: module ds is not loaded
user.info dbootstrap[108]: rmmod: module i82365 is not loaded
user.info dbootstrap[108]: rmmod: module pcmcia_core is not loaded
daemon.err insmod: /targed/lib/modules/2.2.19/pcmcia/pcmcia_core.o:
/target/lib/modules/2.2.19/pcmcia/pcmcia_core.o: No such file or directory
user.err dbootstrap[108]: An error encountered while trying to load and
configure the PCMCIA modules.

I have no idea where to go from here.

This is not Woody. Even if you mean the kernel version, Woody is shiped
with 2.2.20 or 2.4.18.

14MB are required - ignoring the warnings does not make the problem go
away.

As said, use Woody and report if the problem appears with it, thanks.
